One of the highlights of any Festival, regional or national, is a puppet exhibit, a room devoted to the display of puppets of all types.

WHAT PUPPETS WILL BE

We're anticipating marionettes, hand puppets, rod puppets, shadows, hand and rod puppets, mouth puppets, masks -- in short, all the figures and forms that can be defined as puppets are likely to be represented. We will try to have a balanced representation. |

If you have a puppet or two or three that you're proud of, please download or write for some exhibit forms, fill them out (one form for each puppet), and send them with a picture of each puppet to: Phillip Huber, Exhibit Dir. 2007

HOW DO I DOWNLOAD
THE FORMS? |
We have two forms to choose from, a PDF file that will open on any computer that has Acrobat Reader, or a Word file that allows you to type the information directly into its page. Click one of these links-- PDF Form (then print it) or Word Form ( save to your computer with existing file name , “Exhibit Form 07.doc”). Fill out the Word Form by entering the information directly into the gray boxes, using the Tab key to jump one box to the next. When finished, save it, then attach “Exhibit Form 07.doc”, along with a JPEG photo of the puppet & email to Exhibit07@HuberMarionettes.com If you have trouble downloading a form, write to Phillip Huber at the above address, tell him how many forms you want and he will send them by U.S. mail. |

You can bring them with you (and take them home again) when you attend the Festival. Alternatively you can ship puppets to an address that will be provided. (Please note that shipping costs both ways would be your responsibility.) |

WHAT'S THE EXHIBIT TIMETABLE (WHEN DO THE PUPPETS HAVE TO BE THERE?)

When you register on Tuesday, someone will direct you to the exhibit room. The Exhibit Staff will be expecting you. The display will be put together on Tuesday and open for viewing on Wednesday. Your puppets will be ready for pick-up the following Saturday, although if your travel plans make it necessary, puppets can be picked up at the end of the afternoon on Friday. |

WILL MY PUPPETS BE SAFE?
|
The puppets will be handled only by the exhibit staff. The exhibit room will be securely locked when the exhibit is closed, and at least one person will be on duty whenever the exhibit is open. Your puppets will be well-protected. However, any insurance would be your responsibility. |

WHEN WILL I KNOW IF MY PUPPET(S) ARE ACCEPTED FOR THE EXHIBIT?

We will let you know as soon as possible, but by July 1st at the latest. We will notify you one way or the other.
